Grow Your Vision

To assist domestic biotechnology and pharmaceutical production and research units to develop new plant drugs, new medicines, auxiliary treatment methods and health supplements in response to the needs of humans, companion animals and economic animals, by providing a unique, large and easy-to-use plant extract library, and helping to shorten the development time of traditional natural products.

A diverse library of unique natural extracts

Currently, it can provide more than 6,400 extracts/5,000 layers, and is provided in 96-well plates. Therefore, this core facility is the only natural drug library in the country that provides a large number of samples and can assist in high-throughput screening. It can be regarded as the largest natural drug library in the country.

Plant material sourcing, crude extract preparation, refined extract/fractionation preparation, process optimization, rapid prediction of active ingredients, isolation and identification of pure compounds.

We can help users who already have screening targets but have not yet developed screening methods to establish screening platforms. We can also help users who already have screening platforms to optimize and find experimental conditions for high-throughput screening. Users must provide the necessary experimental materials.

Using mice from the National Laboratory Animal Center, the consortium is developing natural products to combat fatty liver disease and liver cancer. The consortium has also established a NASH-HCC mouse model with rapid disease progression.

Provide users with screening method development consultation, customized screening platform establishment, screening platform optimization, screening OEM services, and a variety of biological activity tests.

Genotoxicity testing can be used in preclinical drug testing, cosmetic safety assessment, and health food certification. This service can be used as a preliminary screening for raw material development genotoxicity testing to provide users with a complete assessment of genotoxicity.

During product development, it can be used to quickly evaluate the absorption of active ingredients in the intestine, the disintegration and solubility of the product, and understand the interaction between the excipient and the active ingredient. It can be made into oral products (e.g. tablets, granules) or topical products (e.g. emulsions).

By storing the product under specific temperature and humidity conditions and taking samples at regular intervals for analysis, the residual amount of indicators/active ingredients can be determined, thereby evaluating its storage stability.

It can be used to determine the bioavailability, evaluate the dynamic concentration distribution of drugs (such as blood-muscle distribution, blood-brain tissue distribution), evaluate anti-inflammatory effects, and evaluate the effects of sports supplements.
